Hue - a synonym for the word color
Intensity-s color saturation-vividness of hue; dullness or brightness of a hue
Value - the lights and darks of a hue

Intermediate colors are secondary colors that have been mixed with more of the
Warm colors – red, yellow, orange
Cool colors – blue, violet, green
Complementary colors – colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel Analogous colors - run in order around the color wheel
Monochromatic - the value range of a hue
Tints are white with a hue added.
Shades are a hue with black added.
